“If you don’t like to read, you haven’t found the right book.” J.K. Rowling

Woody is only eight years old but he has a lot to say about the lockdown. He was diagnosed with autism when he was three and the condition has given him a unique viewpoint on the world. His dad Sonny is now turning his son’s poetic observations into art to raise money for an autism charity.

What did you do during the lockdown?

Here is What I Did?

As the financial year-end approaches taking stock is customary. I am taking stock of my writing during the most memorable year the present mankind has ever seen. The year inflicted by Corona, lockdown, and deaths of many known people due to Corona.

The good news though is the availability of vaccines. The world is returning to normalcy in the midst and dealing with the possible 2 nd wave of Corona.

“With Covid-19 I believe it’s God’s way of telling us: “Only Humans can Save Humans with Humanity.”
Somya Kedia

Work from home and time for the family has become a new normal. People have realized the frangibleness of our lives. Therefore, the priority and the importance we give in life to things have changed. Hope this positive after-effect of the shock remains.

Indian Women & Financial Fitness

Thereafter on International Women’s Day, I published another eBook titled Indian Women & Financial Fitness. Financial literacy in India and the world over is extremely low and it’s more so when it comes to women. For the women knowing about the family, finances are empowering. This week the same is now available in the paperback print version.

The book is praised by Lulu Raghavan, MD, Landor & Fitch, Veena Naravane, President, Army Wives Welfare Association, Darshana Jain, CEO, Snapper Future Tech, Chairperson, CREDAI Smart Cities, & Dr. Sarika Kulkarni, Director, Raah Foundation.

“I can’t wait to get a physical copy of the book so I can keep it as a handy reference.
I would urge every Indian woman to read this book and apply this knowledge in her own life and to also share her wisdom with her colleagues and loved ones.”
Lulu Raghavan | Managing Director | Landor & Fitch

“I feel is a very well-timed book. We live in uncertain times. Death, divorce, medical emergencies coupled with retirement and increased female longevity now make it imperative for women to be financially literate. Women can no longer afford to be wholly dependent on someone else to look after their money matters. A financially illiterate woman is vulnerable and is easy prey to unscrupulous relatives and fraudulent schemes. This comprehensive handbook will go a long way in educating women and making them financially savvy.”
Veena Naravane | President | Army Wives Welfare Association

“This is a thought-provoking e-book written in simple language. The basic philosophy of budgeting, spending, earning, inheriting, retiring, and making your money work for you is covered with ease. The authors’ no-nonsense approach to money matters while conveying why Indian women should play an important role in the family financial fitness, and in the financial education of the children, will urge you to stop and think.”
Darshana Jain | CEO, Snapper Future Tech | Chairperson CREDAI Smart Cities | Regional Chair, FIBREE

“A fabulous and highly recommended book must be translated in different languages.”
Dr. Sarika Kulkarni | Director } Raah Foundation

“For today’s brake-less and largely aim-less people, Sunilbhai has created a ‘sugar coated’ fast pill. Fiction that presents the highest wisdom in a practical and applied manner. Hope a lot of readers take its benefit.”

-Vallabh Bhansali, Co-Founder & Chairman, ENAM Group

“This novella chronicles the journey of a young bride learning the ways of Jainism. The reader catches a glimpse into two parallel universes: contemporary urban life in 21st century India, and the world of age-old truths regarding Karma found in the Bhagavad Gita and as taught by Mahavira and Jain philosophers, past and present.”

“A book that takes a reader on a path never attempted; the protagonist asks questions and searches for answers that we all need. An enjoyable read. “

“An excellent book, explaining the basics of Jainism in a very simple, lucid language that laymen can understand. A delight to read. The story flows. No jarring notes of discord. Strongly recommended to persons wanting to understand something about Shrimad Rajchandra’s teachings and Jainism.”

-CA Pradeep Shah, Senior Partner, AJ Shah & Company

“Beautiful……. a very touching……… lucidly written story explaining intricacies of Jainism and, its attraction through the medium of a young Brahmin woman married into leading Jain Family and her curiosity… . “The Highest Ignorance” maintains grip all through while kindling curiosity; answers questions that arise in many minds in the midst of daily routine and expectations of modern families and, interestingly, subtly introduces principles of winning hearts.

A must-read for all… young and not so young, initiated and non-initiated…… “
